Arrival & triple garage

You arrive at FormeHouse along a crushed-granite drive in deep red, past a three-rail hardwood fence, up to a quiet facade of composite cladding in shale grey and recycled brick. The garage takes three cars, set to one end, and the drive opens to a full turning circle with an oak maturing at its centre. Room for the cars, and everything that comes with country life.

You arrive along a crushed granite drive in a deep red, past a three rail hardwood fence, up to a wall of recycled brick. The house reveals itself slowly, the materials doing the talking: the cladding is grounded, the brick warm and reclaimed. The triple garage is set to the front of the west pavilion, and the drive opens to a full turning circle with an oak tree maturing at its centre. In time that oak will throw real shade across the gravel, the kind of slow growth a place like this is built around.Room for the cars, and for everything that comes with country life. Trailers and tools, visitors who stay the weekend, the comings and goings of a house that earns its keep across the seasons.

Room for the cars, and everything that comes with country life.
